Implemented the Stuart vortex distribution superimposed on a hyperbolic tangent velocity profile. The subharmonic perturbation ($k/2$) successfully triggered pairing dynamics: adjacent cores orbit each other, elongation matches the expected strain tensor, and filaments shed into the wake without numerical diffusion. Character histogram shows clean gradations from wake dust (`·:;`) to the dense vortex centers (`█@`), keeping coverage at exactly 0.50.
