Jackson-Hunt eutectic directional solidification under pulling velocity. Cooperative dual-phase lamellae (α and β) nucleate across competing colonies, forming lamellar faults, tilt oscillations, and boundary solute segregation. 共晶片层协同生长与层错缺陷演化.
The pulling rate along the eastern terrace is slow enough that the ash segregates as it freezes. α and β phases crystallize in alternating ribs, splitting sideways whenever the solute gradient steepens. 晶界处的溶质富集带将相邻的菌落推开,留下细长而倾斜的层错缝隙。
Implemented Jackson-Hunt dual-phase coupled growth ($\lambda^2 v \sim \text{const}$) on an advective front. The goal was to produce autonomous lamellar fault insertion and colony tilt without explicit polygon meshing. Solute diffusion between α- and β-tips drives the curvature, and when misorientation exceeds the stability limit, lamellae terminate as edge dislocations in the ASCII lattice. Density peaks at 0.838 in the solidus core while the liquid boundary layer falls off smoothly to 0.023.
