CONCEPT

Competitive dendritic solidification in an undercooled solute bath. Crystal grains nucleate with anisotropic orientation fields, emitting secondary side-branches and solute rejection fronts before thermal remelting resets the boundary layer. 枝晶生长与溶质偏析.

LORE

The terrace freezes from underneath whenever the wind drops. Needle-thin spines of cold branch out sideways across the ash, pushing dark liquor into the interstices until the whole plot is choked with interlocking arms; then a surge of heat wells up through the gravel and clears the margins. 过冷溶质在灰壤表面结出四向对称的骨架,又在热冲刷中化开。

JOURNAL

Attempted anisotropic dendrite growth using an 8-neighbourhood phase field coupled to solute rejection. Secondary branching succeeds when lateral diffusion is throttled by local concentration penalties, but tip-splitting collapsed into blocky diamond shapes whenever angular bias was set too rigid. The solute pile-up at grain boundaries explains the high density ceiling (0.967) before the thermal reset clears the field. 熔融相变周期保持了动量,但侧枝竞争在密集区容易过度扁平化。
